Fashion Haul: Forever 21 & Zanotti

First ever Fashion Haul Video!

Shopping is a girl's bestfriend. Nevertheless, to me it is not only my bestfriend... but my instant source of happiness! 

To be honest, I am actually a self-confessed bargain hunter slash thrift shopper slash misscorypotts a.k.a. kuripot! However, much has changed since Forever 21 invaded Davao City. Yes, I still became the thrift shopper that I am, but I eventually end up buying good thrift finds in large quantities! And that makes me spend a lot, hence, I end up having loads of debt on my credit card that I require myself to pay for since I find it very "ulaw" or humiliating to just let my mother pay my retail therapy on my credit card (hey I'm still responsible for my actions!) and eventually I end up getting broke.

My cure to this shopping virus is for me to not visit Forever 21 after buying loads of stuff, 'cause if I do I'll end up broke-r in a heartbeat! Nevertheless, I still control myself since buying too much clothing stocks up brand new and unused pieces on my closet that I end up using mostly for photo shoots only.

Now, whenever I go window shopping, I contemplate really well and identify if it is a need? or a want? Whether it is a need or a want sometimes I still end up getting it if it is on double markdown slash from the actual price!

Nevertheless, at the end of the day, I may be broke, but I am definitely a happy kid ;)

Confessions of Newbie in the Blogging Industry

Hey there! Well, I must probably begin my blog by welcoming my readers (if I have any). You may be reading this blog right now because, you're my friend, you know me, or maybe you're just really curious ;) Haha. I'd love to have readers!

I must say I'm quite speechless having to start my very own blog. I have prepared quite a bit about it though. Creating accounts, layouts, etcetera etcetera... In other words I was back to zero, not that I was really a full time blogger back then. I was able to have my own blog back in the day during high school though It did not really make any sense (don't judge, I was too young to even care).

Well, now that I have this chance to prove that I have something to give out for blogging, I finally made an account. Thanks to my ever supportive blogger friend, Anne Marielle Gantuangco also known as "The Bubbly Kitty", and of course my group of friends a.k.a. barkada, Team LG.

Enough with the rambling! Let's get into the real deal!

I started loving Makeup almost a year ago from today, I really can't remember how I ended up watching beauty videos on Youtube, but the next thing I knew, I was glued to it!

Whenever I come home or have spare time I always visit Youtube and watch the new videos posted by my favorite beauty gurus, and I actually watch every single one, whatever it takes (it takes a lot of my time). In other words, I got ADDICTED. I even started following them in other social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Blogger. From then on, It has been my everyday routine to watch Beauty related videos on Youtube, and as time passed, I find myself watching Daily Vlogs of these beauty gurus as well! I was really GLUED! I know too much of anything is not good, but it really made me happy watching these videos, that it became a hobby and a form of leisure. And believe it or not, up to this time, I still feel the same. Maybe I'm just better now I can now prioritize other more important matters than just watching videos.

I really learned a lot from these videos and put everything to application.
Practice makes perfect.

After almost a year of passion for makeup, I can say that I have really improved and learned a lot of things. All thanks to my favorite Beauty Bloggers:

Michelle Phan, Say Tioco Artillero, ItsJudyTime,

and all the local Youtube Vloggers including

Teena Arches, Noe Mae Villagonzalo, Ana Victorino and many more.

I suggest you follow them and you'll definitely learn all about makeup!

My burning passion for makeup has driven me to keep on practicing and to keep on trying out new products even if it entails getting broke :D Learning is a continuous cycle and you can never know everything. If you have the passion in doing something, eventually, you will perform better and better as you strive your way to success.

Once you have a true passion to do something you love, you would not feel the "work" of what you are doing, 'cause doing what you love is bliss.

Forgive me if my first blog post is just so newbie-ish. I'm still new in the Blogging world and I have yet to explore and find my way to "right" blogging path (if there is such). I promise to do better in the coming posts! It's a promise, meaning I won't break it! ;)
